Lee Lim was born in Malaysia but has been living in Vancouver, British Columbia since 1978. After spending 14 years in the commercial sector, Lee who double majored in Economics and Psychology at Simon Fraser University, gave up a successful career to pursue a full time professional career in golf. Though a keen golfer, with a personal record of four hole-in-ones, teaching and coaching golf has always been his true passion. Lee achieved his Canadian PGA status in 1999 and has been instruction on a full-time basis ever since.

Lee's teaching philosophy is for every student to first harness their natural and instinctive “feel” for the swing and game before progressing onto the finer detail of the mechanics of the golf techniques. His priority is to help players establish a good basic fundamental and the feel of a swing. Lee also believes that developing the “inner Feel” build connectivity to the game. As such, having fun is an integrated aspect of Lee's teaching approach and this leads to lots of on-curse instructions which is the focal aspect of his teaching principles.

Lee, who has been a part of the Mayfair teaching team since 1998, remains deeply committed and passionate to his profession of teaching and coaching golf. He is encouraged by the successes of his fellow students whom he has instructed. His skills, versatility and cheerful personality enable him to teach students from all age groups. He speaks English, Taiwanese and some Mandarin and is a much sought after instructor in the lower mainland community.
